Designed for end users, built for IT
WICKSoft was designed to keep cost-of-ownership low by
making deployment as easy as possible. WICKSoft never
requires you to make any changes to your existing
infrastructure, and our integrated management tools
mean virtually no maintenance is required.

Just because a
document or file
might be safe to look at on the desktop doesn't mean that it's okay to look at
on your BlackBerry while in the back of a taxi. At the heart of WICKSoft lies a multi-tiered
security model that works to keep your sensitive information safe.
Using WICKSoft you can restrict who, what, and how your mobile users can
remotely access and manage their data using our proprietary security and
management technology.
WICKSoft operates as
if the user were sitting at their desktop—this means all of your existing ACLs and security policies
continue to take effect. Users log in using their own credentials, giving the backend the
final say in access requests.
WICKSoft automatically adjusts itself based on changes you make
to Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, Exchange, and SharePoint. This means you can continue to
manage your network using your existing methodologies and practices and
WICKSoft automatically and instantly inherits the changes.

Connectivity to the WICKSoft server (either through BIS, or through BES/MDS)
WICKSoft is comprised of two parts: a client running on the smartphone, and a
server running within your organization.
Total installation time is typically less than one hour.
No changes are ever made to your existing infrastructure; your entire
backend simply works 'as is' without any special customizations or modifications.
The WICKSoft client is a native BlackBerry application, and not a web browser.
It is self-contained, and does not require features such as PUSH or the
BlackBerry attachment viewer.
WICKSoft server runs standalone, or cohabitates with BES, Exchange, SharePoint,
and supports virtual environments.
